Went to a SEGA (South Easton Gasser Association), race today. Great racing as usual. Lots of fantastic vintage cars and racing. There was a guy there wearing a shirt with Rick’s car on it. 554752D4-F6D1-4DF4-A769-82B477049D1F by Bill Le, on Flickr Spelt his name wrong though!😳

Bill sounds like a good time. Hard to beat a good Gasser Show. Bill I think I have that same T-Shirt ? Pure Hell was a Northern California car. Probably the most Famous of all Fuel Altereds ? I was lucky enough to watch Pure Hell back in the 60's. Got to go with my dad a couple of times to Rich Guasco's house to buy engine parts. Untitled by rick williamson, on Flickr It had a small block Chevy in it at first then they switched to a 392 Chrysler later. Crazy how high the engines was back then. Talk about ill handling. Always enjoy hearing your first hand accounts of drag racing history.
Gasser races are a blast! Like stepping back in time. When men were men and cars had class.
