If they know customers need to dissassemble them to paint them. Why do they make them impossible to take apart?

That is just weird. I would expect an unpainted body to be at least partially if not totally disassembled.

I hear that. I wish they wouldn't put the armature pinion on the arm in those pit kits to

Folks have asked AW to do just that but they claimed that they can't. Then came some of the special order exclusive Deluxe Pit kits, like the 56 Ford truck that come with all of the chrome unattached. Windows were still "welded" in.

They don't know how NOT to assemble them? That's just a load of politcal BS because they don't want to go to the trouble of re-packaging the body. They clearly aren't trying hard enough. They're making money. Why change anything? Just for customer satisfaction? Naa...

Pretty stupid to have unpainted bodies with all the accessories attached.

Assembly "costs money".

You would think they would save money per unit by having the factory not assemble them.

The DR1 is just ok, but it looks like no one is learning how to build or tune anymore, on FB and YouTube all you see is guys putting DR1 chassis under everything like they did something special, is Jags paying people to push their stuff instead learning to tune anymore.

That's hilarious Steve. Hang on a second I got to stretch, my ribs are hurting...
Just kinda guessing, what I see is people comparing them to 4gears out of the box. Well they are not even close, we know that.
Then you got people giving bad information, that don't help anything.
Then we got people who won't help others that ain't no good either.
All they know is, I put a dr1 in place of that 4 gear and my car is running better already lmaooooo.
I try to help everyone who looks new or is looking for help. To me that's the only way. If we don't help them they probably won't get any and we will be missing out on future racers to race with.
Definitely still people learning. I got a hot line over here lol. If you need a student let me know I got a school full. It's really been taking away from my build time but I feel it's worth it just to have more people involved.
As far as jag, I don't see them paying anything. Trying to get a deal for the Christmas race wasn't so good. We got jag decals and not even enough to pass around to everyone lmaooooo.

I don't see the fascination with the Jag chassis except that they made it adaptable to many chassis. They surely run better than a 4 gear, but are only comparable to other inlines. Trying to get the little monsters to run quicker is half the fun, as frustrating as it is at times.

I saw the guy on youtube comparing a DR1-GT to a stock 4 gear and everyone was like wow, I posted what do you expect a 3.5 ohm to do when racing a 16 ohm with ceramic magnets, put a 3.5 ohm and polymer magnets in the 4 gear and see the opposite with the 4 gear winning by a mile, he got mad because I got several likes, Lol

Lmaooooo, I got to find that and give you a like. I did a dr1 vs 4gear with 0s3 arm to show there was no difference when you have comparable parts... the faster car is just usually the one someone spends more time tuning.

For me I'm just happy to have an inline that takes a 4gear body

If the experienced guys don't pass on what they have learned, that knowledge dies with them and so does the sport. You've got a fresh new group stepping up to the plate, ready to learn and pass the torch in turn. cozwurth tjetter
