The wheelie bar in the blue Vette is 1/16 brass tubing. The others are re-bent paper clips. Some thin piano wire would probably be better. Will be glad to chat in a few days.

Thanks Bill. I have lots of piano wire from my RC aircraft days. I was referring to the shape. I like that it's squared off, and slightly bent up at the end. It's a great idea.

My 3 Tyco Unlimited Race's 🏁 are making the trip to Smoky Mountain Dragway soon. The Dodge Daytona is a Tribute to my Youngest Son Rocky. 25 has served five years, and two Deployments From Fairchild Air Force Base in Washington State. That "With Honors" interesting 🤔 He was the baby. Our oldest son is 46 years old, 21 years between. I'm hoping to find some strong challengers in this Tyco competition. Fin    |

Your son has been in the USAF 5 years already, I remember when you said he was joining, seems like yesterday.
Looking forward to seeing your record attempt cars run. The current record should be broken, but we will see.

While in Air Force basic training, back in the 70s, we had a flight mate with a last name similar to yours, which the drill instructor couldn’t pronounce, so he just called him Airman “Hardname”. Looks like your son is doing a geat job. I’m sure you are very proud of him! |
