These are some great wheels and tires for those that like the scale appearance of real cars. The cost is $3.50 for the set of four and that includes tires. You can't beat that price. The tires that come with the wheels are silicone and have great grip. Here are some shots mounted on cars. Their website is www.rrr-1.comThey come in silver, white & gold. Stock #821 "NARROW WHEELS" MEV Dodge Wagon Mead bros Tbolt. I took some material off of the body post to get it to sit lower. Still some room to widen

Thanks Jimmy. You will not be disapointed with these wheels and tires. RRR did a great job on these. I hope they make more this size and maybe with some of their other wheel designs also.

I finally got my thin RRR's and they;re amazing. I'm going to order more.
Let me ask you... I notice you have magnets on your chassis... why would you do that on a drag car? Don't they slow you down?

Hey guys, here is a legal alternative for wheels at the S/S Nat's. Seeing how RRR Narrows only come in one style, there is not much option for a selection. You can use regular FRONT RRR wheels on the back also. There are 9 different styles of RRR wheels (Part no. 810 thru 819). Here are a few examples Slots #816 Steels #814 Depending on how wide your body is you might want to or need to trim off the nipple on the front wheel. Note this will give you less axle surface and could cause wheel wobble. If you have a drill press you can drill the hole out a little deeper. All of which might be more trouble than it's all worth. Nipple Use a Dremel, File or sand it off with some sandpaper. Using a Dremel takes a steady hand and if you decide to do this, please use caution. Trying to hold something this small and cut at the same time is Dangerous and I don't recommend it. I put mine in a small vise or you could use pliers also. There you have it, more options. Like I said it might be more trouble than it's all worth.

Since tires and wheels are being discussed, what is used to stick the tire to the rim? After I filed the stock rims true(and it was slightly out of round) the tire slips off fairly easy.

Good question. It's been awhile since I have glued on slip on silicone tires. I've heard of contact cement working, silicone and super glue. . I'll do some experimenting this week hochal and let you know what I come up with.

Thanks SKR, back a long time ago when the earth was cooling the best we had was the old 3M contact cement, if you didn't get it right the first time.... you were stuck watching the tires wobble down the track. Will look forward to what you find.

Hey Hochallanged... before we started allowing double flanged hubs in St Louis we used clear silicone for that job. Get a small tube (cause it will dry up) and put a small amount on a piece of scrap paper. Using a tooth pick (not your wife's....sorry couldn't help that outburst) spread some around the rear flange of your T Jet wheel. Install the tire, wipe the extra off, and let cure over night. This was always reliable for as long as the tires were good, and when changing tires there was never a mess to deal with. I hope this helps.

Thanks! Gotta like the photo editing programs on photobucket. Here is the same picture with the "old photo" effect to it. Kind of captures the era a little more.
