Tried out a couple of BSRT 2.5s @ 26V and I hope Jeff is ready for some 40 MPH passes.
No trouble with comms on the ones I tried Pete.
4G was another story. I have no brass crowns for those and they both killed the crown gear on the first pass.
I detuned one and put stock magnets in it, that was the one with the new aluminum 4G top plate. That survived but it was
slow running in the mid .6s @ 24 MPH. I do not have any solution for that, they need brass crown gears to go quicker
and faster.

****ATTENTION ATTENTION****
We are about a month and a week from the race and it sounds like everybody is getting their build on. Things will start picking up around here from now on till the race. I have several things that I want to get done by then, so I will be busy with those. I am in the process of purchasing some new power supplies for the track and hope to have them in place by race day. I currently have 30v/10a and am upgrading to 30v/20a. So the cars, especially the hotter builds, will run more efficiently. With that being said, I will be selling my current power supplies. I will post at that time in case anyone is interested. Anyway this is just a quick update. Keep the building going on. If you are not signed up there is still plenty of time. Get yourself on the list now.
Race Day is 40 days away........

****ATTENTION ATTENTION****
Counting today we are 28 days away from Raceday and I still have not worked on my List cars or 4 gear Unlimiteds. But I have started getting the track in order. I have two brand new 30v/20a power supplies on their way and should be here this weekend. That will give me/us 10 more amps (20a total) for the cars. All Classes will operate more efficiently but it will really show on the hotter builds which we happen to be running at this event. There has been a moderate turnout so far with 44 Class cars total. We might get a few more before Raceday, but I don't expect that number to change much. For my last two events I had wanted to try and do some slow motion videos but I was just too busy to get it done. With a more moderate turnout I am going to try and do some again. I have taken several days off to focus totally on the race so I'm hoping to have time. They are pretty cool and it adds something to the race to actually see some of the cars make passes. Other than that, the race format will pretty much follow my normal routine with lots of pictures, commentary, and data. We are racing like men for this event with two HOT Classes running at 26v and a Tjet favorite at 18v! Enough talk........race will be here before you know it.

The team from England left this morning tracking number LP019537462GB. I had a serious talk to the list cars as they have dropped down the list but, I don’t think they were listening as all they want to do is get to Texas and have fun  . |
