**This is a List Racing Event**

Classes to be run are:

- Tjet Pancake Super Stock @ 18v (Any resin/plastic drag body)

- Inline Comp Mountain Motor Pro Stock @ 26v (Pro Stock body preferred but not required (resin/plastic).)

- 4 gear Pancake Unlimited @ 26v (Any resin/plastic drag body*No Lexan*.)











** Cars need to arrive no later than Thursday September 30th, 2021.
** Maximum 2 cars per Class per racer.
** Race Entry/Return Shipping $8 for normal size packages. Add more $$ for larger or heavier packages.
** $50 Shipping on all return packages. Add more $$ if more than that is requested.

** Class body rules are in place. They are pretty lenient. Basically they just need to be a Drag/Street type body. It is drag racing after all.
** Best in Show will be awarded! Customs are ALWAYS welcomed at Bear Creek! Let's see some sparkle!

   This is another attempt to run some Classes that are popular and some that don't get run very often. Inline Comp is always a favorite no matter where it is run at but this time we are going to throw it back to the days of the Mountain Motor Pro Stock Class that was run regularly prior to 2014. This Class was run at 26v back then and we are bringing that back. The two Denver proxy tracks at that time ran deep cycle batteries at 27v and these cars were flying. Bear Creek Track record for the Class at 26v is .3950ET @ 26.9mph. That was on a sectioned track so I'm sure that will be easily eclipsed. Next is a Tjet Class. I love the Tjets and our racers have some beauties! I thought about Tjet Super Comp which would be something new....or Tjet Super Stock. Well Tjet SS battles are hard to beat. This will be run at the normal 18v. Last will be 4 gear Unlimited. With the introduction of the 4g aluminum top plate recently, this Class has to be run here and now at Bear Creek. I am REALLY looking forward to seeing these builds. And of course this is a List Racing event so if you're not on a List get a car built to take a shot at it. There you have it! Lots of time to get it done. I will be updating this page over the next several days with tables, rules, etc.

** Attention Racers**

I just want to say something about the this race. I am in no way trying to tear or see cars torn up with the higher voltages. That is not my purpose for running them. Prior to 2014 we ran Classes at different voltages. Anywhere from 13.8v to 26v. The two Colorado tracks I mentioned on page 1 ran all their local Classes and Proxy Classes at 27v due to being deep cycle battery power. One of those tracks is the forum owners. The Mountain Motor Pro Stock (Inline Comp) class came from their local racing. It is the same build as the 2.5 Pro Mod that runs at Dave's Smoky Mountain Dragway. I never saw any undue damage at 26v in that Inline Class. So I feel very comfortable running the cars at that voltage and everyone else should as well. As far as 4 gear Unlimited....well they were always run at 26v also. I HAVE seen a lot of carnage in that Class. But that is the nature of the Class because we are overpowering the chassis. That Class has always been about innovation and overcoming the breakage. I think we are closer than ever now with the introduction of the aluminum top plate. The plastic crown is still the weak link there though. I love the nostalgia of the forum! The individuals that started this proxy drag racing forum knew much more than I do and I won't let go of their ideas. So I have been attempting to bring some of the nostalgia back for my races. I just don't want anybody thinking that I want to see your cars damaged because I absolutely do not. If I didn't think they were safe, I would not run them. I appreciate and have the utmost respect for everyone here and I always want ya'll to be comfortable sending your cars to Bear Creek Dragway!
